We are on a mission to help everyone celebrate their individuality by redefining what beautiful means. We want to promote self-acceptance and give people the tools they need to feel less alone in the world. Our vision is to create a safe, welcoming space in beauty—and beyond—that supports mental well-being across age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, cultural background, physical or mental ability, and perspective.

Environmental Impact

Our 100% recyclable boxes are made from responsibly sourced, FSC-certified materials, and printed with water-based ink. All of our formula suppliers are audited to make sure they meet the stringent international regulatory standards for Cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices, including ISO 22716. GMP guidlines are designed to help ensure product safety, quality, and consistency through production, control, storage, and shipment.

Rare Impact Fund

The Rare Impact Fund is part of Rare Beauty’s commitment to give people access to the resources they need to support their mental health. Rare Beauty donates 1% of all sales to the Rare Impact Fund and raises additional funds with philanthropic foundations, corporate partners, and individuals in our community to increase access to mental health services in educational settings.

The Rare Impact Fund is a fiscally sponsored project of the Hopewell Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity.

DECIDES WHERE THE FUNDS WILL BE ALLOCATED?

Grantmaking is directed by the Rare Impact Fund’s Advisory Board and will be in alignment with our mission to expand mental health services in educational settings, with a focus on underserved communities.

WHAT PERCENTAGE OF RARE IMPACT FUND DONATIONS WILL GO TO GRANTEES?

100% of public donations are directed to our grantees and strategic initiatives.
