Colorful, pillowy, and delicately flavored: these best describe French macarons. Yes, that's macaron, not to be mistaken for the coconut-based macaroon-- though he wishes to be like him... The average macaron has a radius of 3 inches, but they can be as small as 1.5 inches. What I love most of all about the macaron is that they have so many in variety! On my 26th birthday, I was gifted with an assortment. That's when I discovered just how much I loved them, especially when I tried blood orange and dragonfruit. There's no shortness of freshness when it comes to these tiny treats. I encourage you all to give one a try, even if one time only, and I promise you will not regret it!
