The Chinese Zodiac is a classification system based on a 12 year cycle that assigns an animal and certain attributes to specific years. While the system originated in China, it is also popular in other countries such as Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Cambodia. There are 12 animal signs in total: Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.
