High-speed trains are really fast – they can go with speed more than 200 kmh.
There are a lot of high-speed trains in the world. But the first high-speed rail network was built in Japan over half a
century ago.
Over the Shinkansen's 50-plus-year history, carrying over 10 billion passengers, there has been not a single passenger
fatality or injury due to derailments or collisions.
Now the trains reach a top speed of 320 kmh. This allows passengers to get to
wherever they need in little time.
