Halloween is a holiday that takes plce once a year on October 31st. The origin of it varies according to diiferent countries and religions, and each come with their different practices. For example; the custom of "Trick or treat" in which children dress up in costumes and go to people's homes to get candy. It allegedly was practiced in Germany and some Scandinavian countries. Trick-or-treat is still a popular activity among children, and many adults enjoy dressing up in costumes as well. Halloween is also associated with many modernized practices such as watching scary movies and eating pumpkin-based treats.
