Fairy Tales
For kids or for adults?
A fairy tale is often defined as a children’s story involving magical beasts, imaginary creatures, and fantastical lands. That definition is true as far as it goes, but I know plenty of adults who still enjoy stories about witches and princesses, curses and spells, and happily ever afters. Fairy tales offer an escape from reality, and I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t crave that once in a while. For the children grown older among us, there are a lot of fables and folktales filled with royalty, impossible love, adventure, and a dash of magic.
