Yoga is not only and not so much a physical practice that helps develop strength and flexibility. This is an ancient teaching that speaks primarily about the fact that you can and should be the creator of your life. Yoga helps to develop awareness and attentiveness, teaches you to control emotions and thoughts, heals the processes inside the body, tells you how to keep yourself in relationships and communication.
Mind training is the main thing that yoga teaches. Brains pop up in our heads every minute, many of which are not only useless, but possibly destructive. An important part of yoga is the practice of awareness, which helps to curb the uncontrolled thought flow and direct it in the right direction. And where our attention is directed, the more it becomes in our life. Therefore, it is so important to learn to think positively: to think about what you want, to notice all the good things that are in everyone's life at any given time, no matter how it may seem.
