As we all know, this 2020 football season is going to be quite different due to the 2019 Coronavirus Pandemic (Covid-19). The United States leads the world in the total number of Covid-19 cases. The biggest question of the 2020 College Football Season is will the winner of the National Championship be the TRUE champion?
The Crimson Tide play in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) of the NCAA's Football Bowl Subdivison (FBS). With the PAC-12, BIG 10 Conferences, as well as various star athletes opting out of the season, many critics believe any crowned champion will need an asterix following their name for the 2020 season. That leaves three of the Power-5 conferences competing this season: the SEC, the ACC, and the Big 12.
