Here are some of the quirky ways different cultures honour

the holy coffee bean

• Cortado

  The Cortado comes from Spain and consits of espresso mixed with a roughly equal amount of warm milk

  

• Pharisäer

  The Pharisäer comes from Germanyand consisting of strong, sweetened coffee, a splash of rum, and whipped cream. It is usually served in a large hot toddy glass.

  

• Mazagran

  The Mazagran comes from Algeria and Portugal and is made with espresso served over ice with lemon, rum and syrup are added to the Portugese version!
