The Russo-Ukrainian War is an ongoing war between Russia (together
with pro-Russian separatist forces) and Ukraine. It began in February
2014 following the Ukrainian Revolution of Dignity, and initially
focused on the status of Crimea and the Donbas, internationally
recognised as part of Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, Russian President
Putin launched an unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, setting off the
largest armed conflict in Europe since World War II. Ukraine has
mounted a strong defense despite being vastly outnumbered, but Russian
bombing and shelling have pummeled Ukrainian cities, civilian
casualties are growing by the day, and the fighting has sparked an
enormous refugee crisis.
You can save lives, no matter where in the world you are.
