Okean Elzy
Okean Elzy is the most famous rock bands in Ukraine, whose songs are
known by any Ukrainian.
Their hits include "Ne tvoiia viyna" ("Not your war"),"Bez boiu"
("Without a fight") and "Obiymy" ("Hug me").
Their last released song is "Misto Mariii"("Maria's city"), a tribute
to the defenders of Mariupol city in Ukraine.
Odyn v kanoe
Odyn v kanoe ("one in canoe") is a unique indie/indie rock band from
Ukraine, who tend to sing about philosopical and deep issues
Their most famous songs are "Choven" ("Boat" - based on a poem by
I.Franko),"Nebo" ("Sky") and "Poobitsiay meni" ("Promise me").
Their special song is "U mene nemaie domu"("I have no home"), which
resonates with people forced to leave their homes.
Go-A
Go-A is electro-folk bandm who make their hits based on national
songs, but with adding modern beats.
Some of their other
songs are "Kalyna" ("Viburnum"), "Rano-ranenko"("Early-early") and
"Solovey" ("Nightingale").
They gained popularity after representing Ukraine at Eurovision 2021
with "Shum"("Noise") and getting 5th place there.
