Mako Shark

Mako Sharks, also known as the Blue Pointer Sharks, are the fastest known species of shark, reaching moving speeds up to 31 mph (50 kph), with the ability to hit a bursting speed of 46 mph. Mako Sharks are known to live in tropical and temperate seas, meaning the species is scattered wordlwide. Female Mako Sharks are visibily larger than their male counterparts, reaching up to lengths of almost 15 feet. Mako Sharks are a solitary species for the most part, occasionally grouping according to sex. They are not a large threat to humans, as they tend to live and migrate far from the coast.
