Trap, Neuter, Return

TNR is a process where stray cats are humanely captured and taken to a veterinarian who will spay or neuter the cat, and then mark their ear by removing the tip. Doing this gives a clear sign that the cat has been through the TNR process, and only a small part of the numbed ear is removed. After the cat has recovered, it is released back into its environment to live a happy and free life. This helps control the cat population, promotes feline health, and many other benefits.

飼い主のいない猫（野良猫、外猫など）を減らすために、私たちができることの一つとして、TNR（ティーエヌアール）という取り組みがあります。 TNRを実施された猫たちは妊娠繁殖できないようになるため、猫の数の抑制につながります。また、不妊手術を施されることで尿によるマーキングの頻度や発情期の大きな鳴き声をだす頻度、猫同士の喧嘩等の頻度も減少します。
