What is Aloe Vera?
Aloe Vera is a succulent plant species of the genus
aloe. An evergreen perennial, it originates from the
Arabian Peninsula, but grows wild in tropical, semi-tropical, and arid
climates around the world. It is cultivated for agricultural and
medicinal uses. Aloe Vera is gel from the
leaves of aloe plants. People have used it for
thousands of years for healing and softening the skin.
Aloe has also long been a folk treatment for
many maladies, including constipation and skin disorders.
