River Tara is special in many aspects.It is called “Tear of Europe” as it is supposed to be the cleanest river on this continent: water is unreal clear and can be drunk directly from the river.Tara’s canyon, second deepest in the world,is 1300 m deep.Tara’s quick rapids are perfect for rafting and attract tourists from the whole world.Normally tourists go down to Tara’s mouth where in meets river Piva and creates Drina.Here, near the town of Foča,the rafting-camp is located. Departure from Zlatibor in early hours,transfer to rafting-camp at Tara.At arrival you will get rafting equipment (boots, vest, crash helmet) and listen to a short training from rafting-professionals.Then transfer to Brštenovica where rafting for 22 km starts.You may try to drinks and swim in this river,pass rapids and get finally to Drina and the rafting camp where a lunch will be waiting for you.
