These amazing handmade drawings on fabric can make your walls and
clothes more colourful. A great idea for a gift or a personalised piece
of decoration for your house.
Embroidery consists of many techniques and stitches.
Bites & Stitches focuses on cross stitch in its pieces, but we are
always experimenting with other techniques, such as modern embroidery,
plant embroidery and even crochet!
Every piece is handmade in
Belgium, out of the hands of a Portuguese!
About me
Olá, Hello, Hallo, Bonjour!
I'm Sandra, a 27 years old Portuguese living in Belgium. 👩🏻🦰
I was born in Vila Nova de Gaia (Porto) and I live in Ghent (Belgium)
for 3 years now.
I've studied Criminology and I migrated to Brussels to work with the
European Institutions on gender equality issues. Most recently, I'm
working in Gent on European environmental and mobility affairs. 🚊
Having a demanding job and living far from her family and friends lead
her to rediscover embroidery as a way of reducing stress and anxiety.
After embroidering many gifts and some peer presure, she created
Bites & Stitches, a page where she shares her embroidery work.
Every technique she knows was thought by her family (mother, father and
sister) and she's always willing to try something new (spending quite a
lot of time seeing tutorials 🎞).
