The Destination: Whether you are a rookie, experienced, or advanced kitesurfer, El Gouna, with its sunshine, turquoise blue waters, and consistent wind, provides remarkable conditions for an unforgettable kite holiday and progression. Two large and shallow lagoons, more than two square kilometers in size and the biggest in the Red Sea, allow for consistent flat water and beginner kiteboarding. There's a good amount of nightlife & restaurants for evenings out. The town is beautiful, with mainly newer buildings and many large yachts anchoring for extended periods. Getting around is also very easy with all the Tuk Tuks and Tucxis. If you want a little variety for kiting you can take a mini trip to Tavila, a small uninhabited island reachable by boat less than 45min away.
