The National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine is an architectural and landscape complex of all historical and ethnographic regions of Ukraine: Polissya, Slobozhanshchyna and Poltava regions, the Carpathians, the Dnieper region, Podillya and the South. The Open-Air Museum, founded on February 6, 1969, is located on the southern outskirts of Kyiv, a historic land that once belonged to the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
