Mandu or Mandoo are dumplings that are made out of very thin wrapper that is filled with various ingredients in Korean cuisine. Traditionally mandu are made and eaten together with the whole family on Lunar New Year to pray for luck. Mandu can be cooked in various way: steamed, boiled, pan-fried, or deep-fried. Also, it can be served in soup. If you prefer, you can make the stuffing with tofu, ground pork, ground beef, glass noodle, mushrooms, or even kimchi! 😋
