What is it?

ABACHA
Abacha is a popular dish from the Igbo people of south eastern Nigeria, also popularly called African salad.
This dish is prepared with shredded of cassava, and seasoned with fregrant herbs and spices.
Abacha is popularly served with a side of fried fish

Ingerdients

Shreded cassava, ehuru seeds, utazi leavs, crayfish, potash, cucumber, palm oil, salt, pepper.


Ingredients Prep

Soak sheded abacha in boild water for 5- 10 min and drain
Wash and fry fresh makrel and set aside
Crush and soak potash in room tep water
Wash and rins Ugba and set aside
Slice utazi leaves, cucumber, onions and set aside.
Roast and crush ehuru seeds.
