Cotton Candy grapes are a variety of sweet white
table grapes whose flavor has been compared to the sweetness of cotton
candy. The grapes were developed by horticulturist David Cain and his
team at Bakersfield, California-based fruit breeder International
Fruit Genetics. The carnival-evoking taste isn't the product of
genetic engineering or artificial flavors, but rather the result of
regular plant breeding, NPR reported.
