Casa Batlló is one of Antoni Gaudí's most famous designs, a previously built house that was redesigned in 1904. This colourful building sits on Passeig de Gracia, one of the major thoroughfares through the city.

Front of Casa Amatller

Located next to Casa Batllo is Casa Amatller, another unique building in Barcelona. This building was designed for the chocolatier Antoni Amattler and built between 1898 and 1900.

Front of Casa Mila

Casa Milà was the last private residence designed by architect Antoni Gaudí and was built between 1906 and 1912. An interesting piece to see for anyone who enjoys uncommon architecture.

Picture of Sangrada Familia

The Sagrada Família is a Roman Catholic church designed by Antoni Gaudí and has been under construction since 1882! Even though it is still under construction today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Front of Park Guell

Park Güell is another of Gaudi's works of art. This is one of Barcelona's most colourful spots, with buildings that resemble gingerbread houses and a long, tiled bench that is designed to look like a serpent.

Picture of Parc-d-atraccions Tibidabo

Parque de atracciones Tibidabo is an amusement park with amazing views over Barcelona. The park was built in 1899 by Salvador Andreu and opened in 1905. It's one of the oldest amusement parks in the world that's still functioning!

Arc de Triomf in Barcelona

The Arc de Triomf is a triumphal arch built by Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas as the main gate for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair.

Fountain in Parc de la Ciutadella

Parc de la Ciutadella was the city's only green space for decades following its creation in the mid-19th century. It is 70 acres and includes a zoo, the Palau del Parlament de Catalunya, a lake, museums and a large fountain designed by Josep Fontserè.

Entrance to Barcelona Zoo

Barcelona Zoo used to be internationally known as the home of Snowflake, the only known albino gorilla, who died in 2003. A great place to enjoy nature.

Inside the Picasso Museum

The Museu Picasso houses one of the most extensive collections of artworks by the 20th-century Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. With 4,251 works exhibited by the painter, the museum has one of the most complete permanent collections of works.
