What is floorball?
Floorball is a mix of field hockey + ice hockey and a popular team sport.
Floorball - also known as Unihockey in Germany or Innebandy in Scandinavia - is a fast and varied sport that is easy to learn. It promotes fitness, dexterity and quickness. Its the mix that makes it! Floorball is usually described as a mix of field and ice hockey, but played indoors. there are currently three different game variants, which differ in terms of field size, team strength and game duration.

However, all floorball variants have something in common: Played with a lightweight is played with a lightweight stick with plastic blade and a perforated plastic ball. In the 2 teams face each other, whose goal is to score as many goals as possible.

Different - but not quite! 3 types of game floorball:
- Large field ... It is the royal league of this high-speed sport and has been played for many years in countries such as Sweden, Finland, Norway and Switzerland with great public resonance.
- Small field ... Floorball players also play with large goals and properly equipped goalkeepers as on the large field.
- Mixed ... This variant, also called small gate variant, is the beginners variant and ideal for school and club teams. Here girls and boys build a (mixed) team. There is no fixed goalkeeper, so that in principle each player is partially responsible for covering the goal. Regional and national tournaments and championships are held.
