Gyoza is Japanese pan-fried dumplings which is commonly enjoyed by Japanese people at household, izakaya, ramen places and so on. Dumplings are originally from China. It is said that dumplings were "invented by Zhang Zhongjing, a Chinese medicine practitioner who lived in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the second imperial dynasty of China that lasted from 206 BC to 220AD." Dumplings were made to warm people up from the cold that Zhongjing put "mutton, herbs, and chilis and wrapped them in dough, then steamed them to bind everythign together and keep them warm." Dumplings are enjoyed by many cultures/countries around the world nowadays.

I know everyone loves tacos so I don't need to explain about it deeply. But just in case... Tacos are widely known as Mexican food. "Like many cultural foods, the history of tacos is impacted by colonization and industrialization..." And due to the "historical contexts and the way different ingredients are native to different areas in Mexico, there are so many different ways tacos can be prepared." Indeed, like dumplings, tacos are widely enjoyed by many people in the world.
