Mental health advocacy ...
"You don't have to struggle in silence. You can be un-silent.
You can live well with a mental health condition as
long as you open up to somebody about it".
~Demi Lavato
Since 2020, I have devoted myself to mental health cause; educating people about mental health, volunteering with mental health organisations, and starting a blog dedicated to mental health education. I am a mental health enthusiast who believes in John Green's words when he said, "There's hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't "
How often do you pay attention to your mental health? WHO defines mental health as "a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community". Your mental health is as important as your physical health.
Start prioritising your mental health. Make a conscious effort to take good care of your well-being. Be kind to everyone, especially yourself. Last but not least, stop mental health stigmatisation. People with mental health conditions are still people.
