Meet Chef Allie
Allie began baking alongside her trusty Labrador Retriever, Randall,
when she was just 6 years old. In her teens she started baking custom
dog treats for local residents and their dogs with allergies. A great
love of pets and baking had begun!
After graduating high school in 2012, she spent 2 years studying L'École
de Boulangerie et de Pâtisserie de Paris, a world renowed patisserie
school. She opened her Etsy shop,
Plaits & Souffles
in 2013. The store specializes in patisseries and handcrafted hair
accessories.
In 2018, Allie opened a storefront for her business
Dog Meets Baking
in downtown Kansas City. The location serves as a classroom and retail
space where owners can learn to bake an assortment of dog treats,
alongside Chef Allie and her adorable poodle, Daphne.
