🍪 In a large bowl combine the butter, sugars, vanilla and egg until
smooth.
🍪 Once the wet ingredients are combined, add in the flour, baking soda
and baking powder. Mix until all the flour is combined.
🍪 Mix in your chocolate chips by hand. The dough should be dry enough
it doesn't stick to your hands, add additional flour if necessessary. If
the dough gets too dry you can melt some butter, or use milk, to add
moisture to the dough.
🍪 Scoop tablespoon sized balls of dough onto a lined cookie tray. Press
down on the cookies gently with the palm of your hand to slightly
flatten the top of the cookie ball.
🍪 Bake cookies for 7 to 10 minutes, until just golden around the bottom
edges.
🍪 Let cookies rest out of the oven on the baking tray for 5 minutes
before transferring to a cooling rack.
🍪This recipe makes ~24 cookies. They are best eaten fresh however they
also freeze really well. This is also a great recipe if you use a
🍃different🍃 kind of butter! 🍪
