Kwek kwek are quail eggs that are coated in an orange batter and is deep fried. You’ll notice the bright orange color and almost ping pong ball appearance. Best eaten when it is dipped in a sweet and spicy sauce.

Pork Isaw

Isaw refers to barbecued pig or chicken intestines that are thoroughly cleaned before being boiled, skewered, and grilled. Isaw is typically served with a spiced vinegar dip.

Banana Cue

Banana cue

Banana cue is made with deep fried plantains coated in caramelized brown sugar. The plantain used for this recipe are called Saba, which are very commonly used for cooking in the Philippines. It is usually skewered on a bamboo stick, and sold on the streets.
