History of Iced Coffee

The popularity of Iced Coffee all began in the early 2000s when Starbucks introduced the drink in the form of a frappucino. However, the coffee type has been around for way longer invented in Algeria Circa 1840. It was known as the 'Mazagran' named after the Battle of Mazagran, as soldiers started to run out of milk they added water to the coffee and ice and sugar i.e. known today as Iced Coffee.
