Nature Hikes Are The Best Getaway 🍃

What is the saying? "Mentally I am here..."

I love a good time in nature, if that means even 45 minutes on a paved trail with my dog or a 5 mile mission to the top of a mountain.

Stated by Kirsten Weir, "From a stroll through a city park to a day spent hiking in the wilderness, exposure to nature has been linked to a host of benefits, including improved attention, lower stress, better mood, reduced risk of psychiatric disorders and even upticks in empathy and cooperation." Which in my personal experience nature walks have definitely kept me mentally at ease. Not only do we find ourselves caught up in daily life, technology, traffic, and stress that come with work life balance you can always have a getaway even in it isn't Hawaii or a far away island.
