The Mini Aussie captures the spirit and essence of the full sized Australian Shepherd but is smaller in size - most of the time.
This breed has become so popular amongst people in the United States due to it's unique colors and markings.
I mean, who can resist these cute faces! Here is a video below of one of our fav pups to watch when we're home chillin.
AN UNPOPULAR TREND
Although the Mini Aussie has become so popular, studies have shown that many of these dogs end up in the shelter or dog
pound shortly after they are purchased from a breeder.
Due to their high energy and needy personalities, some families do not do the prior research before buying and end up
realizing they just cannot handle the dog.
Mini Aussie's require time and training, and if left for long periods of time these pups can be destructive. I always suggest doing
yourself a favor and RESEARCH before you get any breed to ensure it is the right fit for you and your family.
Aside from their energetic and free spirits, these dogs are family loving dogs and will offer you many years of love and
companionship.
