Hi, I'm Mo! And I love running. I ran my first half
marathon in high school, (yes the rumors are true, I did cry the last
.1 miles) and continued to run half and full marathons throughout
college.
Recently, I've struggled with a group of autoimmune diseases that
causes degeneration of my joints, especially my spine and hips. In
short, it knocked me down and made any form of running impossible.
But now, with a new treatment regimen, I'm slowly getting back on my
feet and starting to run again. As I continue running (and hopefully
finishing the Chicago marathon next fall), I'm dedicating each mile to
Back on My Feet, an organization that combats homelessness and
addiction through the power of community and running.
