Tortillas are the perfect base for all!
Tortillas are often a pantry staple and can make for the base of a great breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack! Sometimes we can get stuck on only using tortillas for wraps but tortillas are a versatile grain food that can be turned into so many dishes. Our tortillas come in a number of sizes and flavors. Check out our multigrain, spinach, tomato, curry and beetroot flavoured tortillas among other varieties.
breakfast burritos can be prepared with a myriad of filling ingredients, such as eggs, ham, cheese, onion, peppers potatoes, sausage, avocado, tomato, spinach, beans etc.:
tacos: for variety, try filling with shredded meat or cheeses, veggies and experiment with different salsas!
for pinwheels, roll the ingredients inside a tortilla and cut into rings. Our favourite is cream cheese, spinack and salmon.
Why not base a casserole as flour tortillas hold up all that moisture better than corn ones.
tortilla bowls or cups
are made by using a a muffin tin or oven-safe bowl. Just fill with salad or your favorite taco fixings.
