Humans of New York or HONY is a photoblog of street portraits and life stories collected by Brandon Stanton.
HONY started in November 2010 in New York City and since then has developed a large presence on social media with over 20 million followers.
Over the years, the photoblog turned into two best selling books and grew its New York City target to over 20 different countries. Brandon has also interviewed President Barack Obama in the Oval Office and covered the European migrant crisis in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
