Make meditation a habit

Focus on your breath!



Everyone can learn to meditate. You can start by thinking about it as observing your mind, so you can notice the patterns of your mind that distract your inner calm. Do not judge your thoughts! Meditation is the practice of training your mind. You are practicing self-awareness. With the practice of meditation, you will discover that your consciousness is larger than your mind. You are not limited to the hardwire of your brain. When meditating you create new neural pathways in you brain, making it easier to sustain a state of calm awareness. Neurons that fire together stay together, it becomes ingrained as habitual responses, and this state of awareness and peace becomes the new norm. It is important to remember that this will not happen easily and consistency is key.
