The Galápagos Penguin

The Galápagos penguin is the only type of penguin that is found north of the Equator. Their ecosystem resides in the Galápagos Islands, an archipelago (group of islands) 605 miles west of Ecuador.
These penguins are critically endangered, with fewer than 2000 left on Earth. Some threats include:
