Not flying rats!
Bats are misunderstood creatures. They have been associated with rabies and, while some do carry it, less than 1% of bats carry rabies. Bats are extremely important to our ecosystem. Many species eat small insects, including mosquitoes! There are also nectar feeding bats that pollinate several fruit plants like bananas! Much of the desert plants are pollinated only by bats. We also have bats to thank for tequila!
