Soccer is a sport full of passion, determination and love.
It is a sport that allows players to express themselves;
an outlet for those who have no where else to go.
On December 8th 1863 was the first ever recorded soccer game played, which resulted in a 0-0 draw.
From then on, the passion for the game enhanced, making it a popular sport, not only to play, but to watch as well.
Many famous soccer players, such as Christiano Ronaldo, came from nothing to his name, but he found a his feet and used them to his advantage,
creating a foundation and a dream. Ronaldo is an example of an individual who took every opportunity
he was given and created a life that he knew he could commit to. The Woodbridge Soccer Club, established in 1976, is a non-profit organization of long standing in the community of Woodbridge.
The Goal and Objective of the club is to build and encourage sportsmanship among the youth of our community by fostering and teaching the game of soccer.
Woodbridge Strikers has a lot of player and team achievements, making it a great club to play for. Many players have been drafted to teams abroad as well as local teams such as Toronto FC.
