Polaroids hidden in my wardrobe

A story of instant memories

At the age of 16 years old I was gifted my first instant camera, a Polaroid 635CL. Since then, I had fun taking instant photograhs experimenting using different cameras and filters capturing moments shared with friends and family and immortalizing things and places I liked.

Whenever I think about instant photography, something that Wim Wenders wrote always comes to my mind: "...- Taking polaroids always felt like a very different act to me than 'photographing' as such.
The camera itself was almost considered a toy, not a 'serious instrument', and taking pictures with it was simply fun. There was something casual and playful about it, carefree, almost reckless. -... "
