Throughout its 26 years of existence, the oldest and charismatic Portuguese festival has made history in the discovery of new musical promises and the presentation of the most renowned names in music worldwide. Arcade Fire, Pixies, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Coldplay and Morrisey are just a few of the names that have stepped onto the stage of this festival. The Festival Paredes de Coura takes place at a small village in the north of Portugal next to the river beach of Taboão. Between an idyllic scenario and completely integrated into nature the main stage faces a natural amphitheater. Every year people come to hear good music, to have fun with friends and to relax in the best place in the world.
