The fundamentals of one of today's hottest new workouts
Since its start in 1998, The Lagree Method has
differentiated itself from any other type of exercise, combining both
high-intensity bodybuilding techniques with low-impact qualities. The
union of these two fundamental techniques allows Lagree Fitness clients
to achieve rapid results after taking just a few classes.
The Lagree Method is based on 7 principles:
Effective Form: correct body alignment
is necessary for safety and effectiveness
Range of Motion: correct range of
motion is emphasized to ensure a balanced workout
Effective Tempo: every exercise is
performed slowly and without momentum to isolate muscles and prevent
injury
Effective Duration: the method utilizes
"Time Under Tension" - a bodybuilding training technique - to promote
muscle endurance and strength
Effective Tension: "progressive
overloading" - another bodybuilding training technique - is utilized
to promote muscle conditioning and strengthening
Effective Transition: minimal rest time
is present, and each movement is done in rapid succession
Effective Plane of Motion: multiple
planes of movement are targeted to create a balanced workout program
while maintaining joint integrity, promoting coordination, and
strengthening neuromuscular connection
