I have worked as an optician for many years and know from experience how eyes and eyesight are incredibly complex. Most people don't know where to start when it comes to learning basic information regarding their eyes and go into their annual eye exam with a limited understanding of all the inticate details of their eyes functionality and how corrective lenses actually work to improve their eyesight.
