Digital art, once called computer art or new media art, refers to art made using software, computers, or other electronic devices. Anything produced or made on digital media, such as animations, photographs, illustrations, videos, digital paintings, and such can be classified as digital art.
One of my favourite digital artists is Laura H. Rubin. She is a published and award-winning digital artist with a predilection for simple aesthetics. She wrote multiple art and study books and fascinates the art scene with her emotional portrait drawings, which encourage a new perspective on digital art.
Her art inspires me to paint too, albeit my art is nowhere near to being as skillful as hers. She has published a gorgeous art book with a collection of her painted portraits, including the one above and more:
