Cashew Nut Brigadeiro

Brazilian Desert

Brigadeiro is a typical sweet of Brazilian cuisine, originating in Rio de Janeiro, which quickly spread throughout Brazil, becoming common throughout the country for its presence at birthday parties. The origin of the name "brigadeiro" is linked to the presidential campaign of Brigadier Eduardo Gomes, the UDN candidate for the Presidency of the Republic in 1946.
