Pangasius spp is a farmed fish in Asia (Vietnam is the largest
producer) that is of high demand in Europe and the US. Some people say
that this fish meat is a full of pesticides and is not raised
sustainably, however such claimes are not supported by scientific
findings.
On opposite,
Wageningen University and Research found out that
even rejected fish fillets are suiable for consumption and do not
contain high or medium levels of any poisonous substances. In fact,
fish meal is good for your bones, heart and brain. Thus, go and eat
Pangasius!
