Grand Canyon National Park


Established 1919

The Grand Canyon is known as one of the "Seven Natural Wonders of the World". Stretching 277 miles from end to end, its rocky walls descend more than a mile to the canyon’s floor, where the wild Colorado River traces a swift course southwest. This national park recieves more than" five million vistiors annually making it the second most visited national park in the United States. Visitors have many options as to how they see the Canyon including but not limited to hiking, a mule ride into the Canyon, and river rafting.
