Pugs are the silliest, hungriest, and smelliest breed out there. They might be one of the most controversial breeds as well. Originating from China, pugs made their way to Europe in the 16th century. If you've ever seen some paintings from back then, you'll notice that today's pug has gotten a bit of makeover. Pugs of the past were leaner and had a larger snout. Now pugs are known for their wrinkly faces, stocky bodies (rolls included), and "short" snouts.
Pugs can be smelly, but don't hold that against them. Pugs' short
snouts often have them swallowing more air, more air = farts.
Sharts have also been known to appear on their owner's clothes
after a round of petting.
Pugs shed like crazy; even your Roomba will have a hard time keeping up. Now matter the number of baths or rounds of brushing, a single pug hair can always be found on your clothes.
Pugs have puppy eyes for their whole life. Those big brown eyes are very successful at manipulating you for more treats and the leftovers on your plate.
Pugs love to be with you! Sometimes you may find your pug following you from room to room, but they just see it as their job to be your bodyguard now. Granted, they're more likely to wag their tail and kiss an attacker than protect you, but the good intention is there.
Pugs in clothes = the cutest creatures in the world. Period.
