Arabella the Ballerina

A recount of my journey through ballet

From the time that I was two and a half years old, I studied ballet. My first encounter with dance was at a studio called Imagination Dance & Fitness, in Niagara Falls, Ontario. After a few years I wanted to switch to a different studio to to learn classic ballet instead of what I was previously taught, cecchetti. I studied and performed with a dance studio called Happy Feet Dance, where I met some amazing dancers and broadened my dance curriculm. Then I moved to Hamilton, Ontario where I began dancing with Xklusiv Dance Productions. At this time that I began practicing a more intense component of ballet, pointe. This had always a dream of mine, and finally it was my reality. Finally, I moved back to the Niagara Region, and attended a studio called Dingman Nagy School of Ballet Arts. Here, I had the opportunity to study cecchetti again, and take exams to advance to the next grades. I began competitive dance in ballet and modern. And one of my favourite opportunities with this studio was doing workshops at the National Ballet School of Canada.
I wish everyone loved ballet as much as I do. So right now, I want you to go see what it's all about.
