Small steps can make a big impact

I love to walk. Whether it's a quick trip to the local market or a two-hour hike, walking is my go-to method for exercise and mood lift. Many people believe that in order to have a positive impact on their health, they have to make radical, sweeping changes to their current daily routine. Some start severe diets and grueling exercise programs only to stop within a couple of weeks because of hunger or injury.
A simple way to implement a change, however, is walking. Walking is great because it can can be a solitary or social pursuit. This little exercise can also have a big impact on both your physical and mental health. Learn more
