The South Korean sci-fi mystery thriller TV series is an adaptation of the 2014 short film "The Sea of Tranquility". The plot is set in the near future when the planet suffers from a lack of water and food caused by desertification and lack of rain. The Republic of Korea's Space and Aeronautics Division (SAA) sends a crew under Captain Han Yoon-jae to the Balhae Lunar Research Station on the moon. During a perilous 24-hour mission, the space crew must retrieve at least one mysterious sample from the abandoned research facility. Among the crew is Dr. Song Ji-an, an astrobiologist who's somehow connected to the Balhae Lunar Research Station and discovers a hurtful secret.
